Survive and Prosper
'Everybody has accepted by now that change is unavoidable. But that still implies that change is like death and taxes; it should be postponed as long as possible and no change would be vastly perferable. But in a period of upheaval, such as the one we are living in, change is the norm." quoted by Peter F. Drucker.
It is indeed a strange new world we live in: Crops are grown for biofuel, video-game players become professional, carbon off-setting is becoming big business, green consultants/builders are going to be in high demand, and elderly people are no longer senior citizens but "active-agers".
The market forces impacting business organisations are fundamentally different from those of a few years ago. As Drucker says, change is dreaded but it has to be made, as it is now even more critical than before for organisations to constantly adapt to changes...
Focus on how existing sales & marketing processes can be reformulated to capitalise on opportunities to expand business and develop new niche markets, products and services, and trends for potential target groups like greenies, techies and active-agers.
In adopting new marketing strategies, take into account factors like your strengths and weaknesses (and possible remedies), external threats (competition, economic factors, labour shortage, etc). marketing mix (products/services, promotional goals, pricing and distribution) and target market analysis.
Effective marketing is partly the result of exposing your target audience to your brand/product and its unique benefits, in as many ways and as cost-effectively as possible. So you should also consider new-age marketing tools worth researching or acquiring, and how these can be integrated with existing ones to better communicate with your audience.
The most fundamental strategy is this: Purchasing is an emotional decision, so it is important to believe in your products/services and instil in your prospects good feelings about your company, your business relationship with them, and how you can improve their lives (be it by saving the earth or preserving their youth), and they will reciprocate by doing business with you!

Tongtong, Tongyeul, both are good buddies now, swim & eat together, sleep together, but sometimes fighting for their food, are both of you like that?? most of the time Happy wins. But Lucky has performed pretty well by now!

Remembrance & Good Bye
On 13th June,
I picked her up " Henderson Road aquarium" a week ago. She's very charming, active and could swiftly crawl with confidence... and also adapted well with "Lucky" so much so that both are always side by side! I hated myself! Helpless and I could not save her this day Monday evening 6.30pm 23 June 2008....even at 2am, I'm still thinking of her... recalled her struggle clearly in my memory, tilting her head left & right, grasping the last breathe with her eyes open! And at quick seconds, looking at her... she kicks and stretches out herself and gone...very very depressed.
Waited for Liu to return and we created a "Blessed home" filled with fragrance of tibet incence and chanting!! This is life, regardless of human or animal, same as movie....good are always gone abruptly, bad one~~useless~~is surviving long term?? Know the meaning of "TREASURE" what you have now in this LIFE !!!

Singapore Renovation Contractors - Nightmare
This is always a nightmare when dealing with "Singapore renovation contractors"...well, I don't know if it happens on other country?? Having experienced to struggle to hand-on 3 times of moving houses & gotten to renovate with joy, i landed up helpless & anger?? Never gotten a chance to meet a responsible one! Most of the behaviour & language/terms they applied are quite similar ways?? Most like to play "Tai-chi"!!
On signing the agreement or collection of payment, they are very prompt to attend to you leh.. but.. when come on problems they all MISSING-IN-ACTION. Subsequently, the salesman has resigned, so no choice try asking for the boss, then boss will quote another staff to handle, yet this staff will "ding-dong here & there" either give excuse busy lah, need to check the files or on leave or not answering my call,,,,, BEWARE,,,,is it a tactic to uphold company Prestige & Image, you "give the benefit of doubt"...
You want me to tell you,,,, I have aplenty to list down issues in related to renovation progress with headache and frustration......since most of us valued our property with pride, I just wish the consumer like me are entitle to some kind of rights or insurance to protect us during progress & after such renovation procedures!
till today, 24th June 2008, still without response! Even ignore my calls.

Missing In Action
Wow..such a long time I didn't make my postings. I went to Kallang Leisure Park at 7pm and was very disappointing. Dinner was limited choice and I personally feel that the ambience is not attractive. There still a lot of empty shops available to lease. I guess the location seems inconvenience to bring crowd there unless you own a car. Well, dinner is unappetizzzz... go home for my groceries and I can enjoy the Donuts with mum, kath, xuan & hui.

Visit to Singapore Flyer
May 2008... always an important month! I have Belinda to treat me at Paragon "My mum cuisine", then shopping till the late closing hours.
May 11th, Special dates to Foot Spa, the itch bitten by the fishes real uncomfortable. Then follow by the long queue for the ride on Singapore Flyer. We could catch the beautiful skylines, clear seas, of course this evening rides could watch the beautiful sunset...
Dinner time - we drove to Beach Road for Claypot Rice.

Lucky Terrapin
Lucky..Lucky.. i have no intention to shelter you at home...but...Tongyeul's favourite, nobody is keen to look after for 2 yrs ++ before your departure to Japan?? So I got strong love with Lucky now.. built a rocky tank for Lucky, yet caught him into eye infections, hibernate for 2 weeks no food. I managed to save him now re-built a new home with a log..he seems happy and his eyes has improved.. so HAPPY right? Not forgetting, I have saved "Wangwang" life too.

Bintan Resorts Departing 9 March
Enjoy a new level of entertainment to destress at Bintan Resorts... we wanted a short holiday that we came across the NATA Travel fair, so finally booked the Nirwana Gardens Resort Hotel 3Days2Nights.
Best Buy..We paid approx. Sin$350 include breakfast! On the ferry, it made me headache, sick... rock & rock....I vomit on the vessel...luckily they provide disposal plastic bag for me and I discovered I m not the only one, some people also sea-sick! So the staff busy running around to clear our bags! When we touched down the Bintan terminal, waiting for bus pick-up to hotel... so go shopping at the Factory Outlets! After so many years, I suddenly recalled that I have stayed in this resort before, but too late, I can't change hotel, so no choice, stay put! Oh, ya.. remember my free stay at Laguna valid for one year.... hope this is real! If you want to know how I got it, when we meet, I will let you know.
